Untying the Not Golden CD Contest – UPDATE!

Here’s a quick update on the status of the Untying the Not Golden CD Contest & "Mystery Concert":

We’ve received a tremendous response from fans wishing to enter the contest through the mail-in entry process, as well as the 2nd Chance Sweepstakes. Rest assured, all of the entries have been collected, and are standing by at SCI Fidelity world headquarters, awaiting the prize drawing. Before we hold the drawing, however, we need to finalize the date & location of the "Mystery Concert", so we’ll know exactly how many additional prizewinners we will be able to select. Obviously, the capacity of the venue will determine the total number of winners who can attend the show.

Why the delay in finalizing the details, you ask? Well, the Barefoot Boys are preparing to embark on a large-scale international tour, and they are still finalizing their summer touring plans. We want to be certain that the date & location we select for the "Mystery Concert" will coincide with their touring schedule, and will also live up to our standards of a "special & intimate" Incident. The good news is that the stars are beginning to align, and we’re very close to locking down a time & place to hold this unprecedented event.

To those of you who found a Golden CD and have mailed it in to us to claim your prize, please stay tuned. We thank you for your patience as we finalize the details of the prize, and we’re sure that the Mystery Concert will be well worth the wait. We’ll notify you of the date/location of the concert as soon as it becomes known to us.
If you happen to find a Golden CD in the future, unfortunately it will NOT count as a winning disc, as the promotional period officially came to an end on 1/14/2004. However, a Golden CD most certainly will make for a cool keepsake, and a rare piece of SCI memorabilia. Oh, and it also contains all of the wonderful sonic prizes included on every "regular" copy of Untying the Not … happy listening!"Untying the Not" Golden CD
